A.J. York – Family Life Pastor

A.J. became part of the staff at Bible Baptist in November of 2016. He oversees the music and design/tech departments of the church. A.J. was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and grew up in a pastor's home. He accepted Jesus as Savior at the age of 5. His parents provided many opportunities for him and his four siblings to use their gifts to serve the church and community. When he was a freshman in high school at Lake Texoma Baptist youth camp, he surrendered his life to full-time ministry. 

Upon graduating from high school, he went to Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO and completed a Pastoral Studies and Bible Degree in 2014. During this time he met his wife, Brooke, and they were married two years later in her hometown of Springdale, AR.

The York's have spent the last 20 years ministering in churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and in Mississippi. They are excited about being part of this growing and mission oriented church. 

They have 2 sons; Solomon(5) and Thomas(2).
